Odisha State Scholarship

(Post Matric SC/ST/OBC/SEBC/EBC & Odisha Resident | Granting Agency: Govt. of Odisha) Odisha State Scholarship Portal envisions to bridge the gap between the scholarship providers and scholarship seekers thus, encouraging more students to be in the system.

  • Post-Matric Scholarship for ST/SC
  • Post-Matric Scholarship for OBC/SEBC

Eligibility:

  • The Candidate should belong to ST/SC/OBC/SEBC/EBC community.
  • The Candidate should be permanent resident of Odisha.
  • The candidates should continue their Post Matriculation Studies in any general/technical or professional courses in any Govt. or Govt. recognized Private institutes.
  • The annual family income of the parent/guardians from all sources in case of ST/SC candidates should not exceed Rs.2,50,000/- per annum.
  • The annual family income of the parent/guardians from all sources in case of OBC/SEBC candidates should not exceed Rs.2,50,000/- per annum and they have to secure at least 50% marks in previous examination.

Tuition Fee Waiver (TFW) Scheme

Under this Scheme, up to a maximum of 5% of “Approved Intake” per course shall be available under Tuition Fee Waiver Scheme (TFW). These seats shall be supernumerary in nature. Under the Scheme, students get complete tuition fee waiver. The waiver is limited to tuition fee and students need to pay all other expenses.

Eligibility:

  • Student’s parent’s annual income from all sources does not exceed Rs. 8.00 Lakh.

E-KALYAN SCHOLARSHIP SCHEME

(Post Matric | SC / ST / BC & Jharkhand Resident | Granting Agency: Govt. Of Jharkhand) The Welfare Department of Jharkhand State running various schemes for the welfare of the backward classes and the SC/ST. A step towards achieve speedy, transparent & accountable governance. The system links all welfare departments, treasury, databases of Secondary Schools Certificate (SSC), colleges and banks to disburse scholarships. Processing of students' applications for scholarships, sanctioning and passing of bills for disbursement are enabled in the system.

Eligibility:

  • Student must be of Jharkhand State.
  • Student must be either Schedule Tribe (ST) or Schedule Caste (SC) or Backward Class(BC).
  • Students Annual Family Income from all sources should not exceed:
  • Schedule Tribe (ST) or Schedule Caste (SC) Rs.2,50,000/-
  •  Backward Class (BC) Rs.1,50,000/-
