At Vedang Institute of Technology, Conferences, seminars, symposia and workshops are conducted periodically through out the year where corporate heads, entrepreneurs, academicians from different National/International level premier institutions are invited to share their experience and expertise from their respective fields with the students and faculty members.
Co-Curricular Ativities
Co-curricular activities of Vedang Institute brings out the hidden talents of the students to the fore. These activities provide a platform to the students to exhibit their potential and excel in their extra-curricular passions. Vedang Institute very well understands the present needs of the cultural activities apart from the academic requirements necessary for the students. Keeping this view different independent clubs have been set up to perform various activities as follows. Annually a chairman’s trophy is awarded to the best performing students in the respective fields.
Vedang Literary Club
The Vedang Literary Club organizes its activities once in a week generally in the afternoon to promote the literary skills among the students, particularly in the area job, poetry competition, essay writing, story writing and story telling. In house jury members evaluate the participant’s performance in league rounds.
Vedang Music Club
Vedang Music club actively encourages the students in cultural activities such as music, acting, instrument playing etc. The club organizes its activities once in a week and each participants is allowed to perform or any musical instruments, or to recite any classical or light-vocal song for five minutes. The in-house jury members nominate six of the participants in league rounds for the final round. A panel of judges comprising of eminent personalities in the music world are invited to evaluate the participants in the final round.
Vedang Debate Club
Vedang debate Club organizes debates and group discussions on every weekend. Competitions are held in league basis to select the required number of best candidates for the final round. The Debate Club also strives to enhance the general awareness of the students and in this regard also separate competitions are organized on the week end days afternoon hours.
Social Concern
The Vedang institute has engaged itself in acting social service .The institutes well understands its responsibility for the social concerns, and keeping this philanthropic activities in viewer ,rural awareness fairs ,disaster management programmes are organized regularly so as to create an awareness in the society and equip or students to face the future social challenges. In times of natural calamities like cyclone or flood, Vedang institute extends all possible helps to the needy people and free aids are distributed to the under privilege people. Our students take active parts in N.S.S programmes conducted in the adjacent and neighbouring villages.
Yoga and Meditation
Vedang institute has full time trained yoga practioner who looks into the well being of the students-both physical and mental .Yoga means union of the mind with the body and ultimately union of the soul with the Supreme being. The need to introduce yoga was felt as more and more students needed to calm and sooth their mind and acquire a healthy body. Students have found it as an effective mean to concentrate on studies and are able to hand stress more efficiently.

The institute is committed to impart quality education to the students. It has highly developed infrastructure and committed to quality education in this regard the institute is planning and working to earn ISO certification and other accreditation programmes at appropriate times. Hard work, integrity and honesty is valued at in zenith.
Industry Tie-Up
To bridge the gap between industry requirements and students competency level as well as to enhance the placement, student project and above all R&D activities, the Institute has already planned and worked out to sign a number of MOUs with different MNCs like HP, Dell, CISCO, D-LINK, TCS, MIND TREE, consulting and Hexaware technologies to establish their academic centre of excellence at Vedang Institute of Technology.
